Getting dental implants can be a major event in someone’s life.

After getting dental implants, you should initially stick to soft and liquid foods to allow your mouth to heal. Avoid hard, crunchy, or chewy foods, especially in the first few weeks. Good choices include smoothies, yogurt, mashed potatoes, applesauce, and soups (make sure they’re not too hot). As your mouth heals, you can gradually introduce more solid foods like cooked vegetables, pasta, and eggs

What to Eat the Day After Implant Surgery: Cool Liquid Diet

Foods to eat immediately after dental implant surgery:
  • Liquids:
    Smoothies, protein shakes, meal replacement drinks, fruit juices, and broth. 
     
  • Soft foods:
    Yogurt, applesauce, mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, pudding, and ice cream (not too cold).
